GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (Authority) is committed to making air travel more sustainable. In 2019, the Authority was the first in the nation to offer a carbon-neutral travel option to its passengers.
The Authority has now partnered with Sustainable Travel International (STI) to offset the carbon emissions of all air travel departing from Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV). This makes GNV the first U.S.
